Description
Château La Croix Pomerol 2020 is a sophisticated red from the prestigious Pomerol appellation in Bordeaux, France. Made by the renowned Famille Joseph Janoueix, this classic blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc reflects the unctuous, refined style typical of the Right Bank. The 2020 vintage stands out for its excellent ripeness, and the wine won a Gold Medal at the Concours des Féminalise.
Château La Croix-Canon is one of the most respected estates in Bordeaux's Canon-Fronsac. Set on the banks of the Dordogne, it has ideal conditions for producing quality Merlot-based Bordeaux. The estate belongs to the famous Jean Pierre Moueix of Château Pétrus in Pomerol. The vineyards are planted with 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, producing structured, balanced wines with generous fruit and a refined finish.
The Cru de La Croix vineyard lies on the gravel of the upper terrace. Delightful floral touches on the nose; the palate is soft and delicate, with a delicious velvety texture.
