This majestic vintage Champagne is made by one of the region's leading producers, Champagne Jacquesson, from a fantastic 1 hectare plot of land called “Corne Bautray”, which was planted with Chardonnay in 1960. This single vineyard is located in the Grand Cru of Dizy in the Valle de la Marne and sits on a steep slope facing southwest, with chalk and gravel soils, ideal for crafting a high-quality Blanc de Blancs.

In the cellar, Jacquesson's philosophy is centered on terroir and the purity of the fruit, along with very long lees aging. This cuvée is aged for nine years in the bottle on the lees before being expelled without any additional dosage. The result is a remarkably polished and balanced vintage Champagne that will continue to evolve and develop beautifully in the bottle for years to come.
