Description
Bright citrus in colour with a soft golden hue, hinting at some evolution and complexity. On the nose it shows well-defined ripe fruit — peach, apricot and baked apple — in harmony with subtle hints of used oak, in which it fermented and aged for eight months. The well-integrated barrel adds depth and elegance, with light touches of vanilla and nuts.
On the palate it stands out for its creamy, enveloping texture, from contact with the oak, which gives it a richer, more structured profile. Yet it always stays balanced thanks to lively, well-integrated acidity that brings freshness and ageing ability. The finish is long and sophisticated, at once classic and modern, promising good cellaring but also plenty of immediate pleasure.
A versatile white that combines richness and precision, an excellent choice both for more delicate dishes and for bolder pairings.
