Description
Vernaiolo Chianti DOCG 2024 is a young, fresh, balanced Italian red made by the prestigious Rocca delle Macìe in Tuscany. The name "Vernaiolo" comes from the Latin vernāle (of spring), recalling the old local tradition of bottling the wine just after the end of winter.
Colour & aromaA bright ruby-red with delicate purple glints. On the nose it shows an intense, captivating aromatic expression, with fresh red fruit such as cherry and blackberry, harmoniously wrapped in floral notes of violet and lavender, and subtle nuances of sweet spice.
PalateOn the palate it's balanced and very appealing, medium-bodied, with vibrant, refreshing acidity and soft, finely polished tannins. A clean, juicy, very easy-drinking wine, standing out for its elegance and long, refined finish.
