Wine profile
Body
This wine: 4 out of 5 — closer to «full».
How heavy and full the wine feels in your mouth — from light like skimmed milk to rich like cream. It comes mainly from alcohol, extract and, in sweet wines, sugar.
Wine profile
Tannin
This wine: 4 out of 5 — closer to «firm».
Tannins come from grape skins, seeds and oak. You feel them as a pleasant drying grip on gums and tongue — from silky and velvety to firm and chewy.
Wine profile
Acidity
This wine: 5 out of 5 — closer to «crisp».
The freshness that makes your mouth water, like a squeeze of lemon. It gives a wine tension, length and ageing potential, and makes it great with food.
Wine profile
Alcohol
This wine: 4 out of 5 — closer to «high» (13.5% vol.).
Alcohol brings warmth and body. Still wines usually sit between about 11% and 15% ABV, while fortified wines such as Port sit around 19–20%.

Tasting Note
Tricot Tinto 2019 shows a modern, sophisticated take on the Alentejo, marked by freshness, elegance and a distinctive mineral expression. The review by Robert Parker's team, published in The Wine Advocate and signed by Mark Squires, highlights precisely its refined character and how it moves away from the heavier, riper profiles traditionally associated with the region.
AromaAroma
A nose of great purity and definition, where the floral, aromatic side of Touriga Nacional combines with notes of graphite, black fruit and a mineral character from old high-altitude vines. A complex, deep and at the same time elegant profile.
PalatePalate
It has excellent fruit concentration from balanced ripening, yet keeps a remarkable sense of freshness. The acidity is vibrant and precise, supported by fine, firm tannins. An almost saline minerality adds tension and depth, giving the wine a particularly elegant structure.
Balance and Finish
Silky, precise and harmonious, it combines intensity and concentration with extraordinary overall lightness. The finish is long, fresh and marked by persistent minerality.
Ageing Potential
Although already elegant and balanced, Tricot Tinto 2019 has enough structure, acidity and energy to develop well in bottle for 10 to 15 years, gaining more complexity and depth.
Rating
The 95 Parker points reflect the combination of concentration, elegance, freshness and minerality that defines this wine. A contemporary, sophisticated and silky red that shows high-altitude Alentejo through a fresher, more precise and mineral approach.
