Wine profile
Body
This wine: 4 out of 5 — closer to «full».
How heavy and full the wine feels in your mouth — from light like skimmed milk to rich like cream. It comes mainly from alcohol, extract and, in sweet wines, sugar.
Wine profile
Tannin
This wine: 4 out of 5 — closer to «firm».
Tannins come from grape skins, seeds and oak. You feel them as a pleasant drying grip on gums and tongue — from silky and velvety to firm and chewy.
Wine profile
Acidity
This wine: 4 out of 5 — closer to «crisp».
The freshness that makes your mouth water, like a squeeze of lemon. It gives a wine tension, length and ageing potential, and makes it great with food.
Wine profile
Alcohol
This wine: 5 out of 5 — closer to «high» (14.5% vol.).

Description
Château Fleur Cardinale 2020 is a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé red that stands out as the first vintage fully vinified and aged in the estate's new facilities. It's widely praised by critics for its impressive tannic structure and aromatic purity.
The Wine AdvocateRP 95Reviewed by: Lisa Perrotti-Brown
Composed of 77% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, with 14.5% alcohol and a pH of 3.57, the deep purple-black 2020 Fleur Cardinale leaps from the glass with intense notes of crushed blackberries, stewed black plums and Morello cherries, with hints of star anise, pencil shavings and black truffles.
The medium- to full-bodied palate is packed with juicy, soft-textured black fruit, balanced by fantastic tension, finishing long and persistent, with many earthy layers.
