Wine profile
Body
This wine: 4 out of 5 — closer to «full».
How heavy and full the wine feels in your mouth — from light like skimmed milk to rich like cream. It comes mainly from alcohol, extract and, in sweet wines, sugar.
Wine profile
Tannin
This wine: 2 out of 5 — closer to «silky».
Tannins come from grape skins, seeds and oak. You feel them as a pleasant drying grip on gums and tongue — from silky and velvety to firm and chewy.
Wine profile
Acidity
This wine: 3 out of 5 — right in the middle.
The freshness that makes your mouth water, like a squeeze of lemon. It gives a wine tension, length and ageing potential, and makes it great with food.
Wine profile
Alcohol

Description
Alexander vs The Ham Factory
100% Tinto Fino, from the villages of La Horra and Hontoria de Valdearados. Average altitude 850 to 900 metres, all in the province of Burgos. The grapes come from old vines over 60 years old.
Deeply coloured, this wine has a beautiful intense garnet-red colour. On the nose there is a range of complexity from fruit to ageing aromas: very ripe black fruit (blackberry, blueberry) resting on delicious smoky, roasted and bakery-toast notes from the French oak. On the palate the wine is very elegant. Fine. Highly structured, it is sweet, round and long, where after the first powerful attack of ripe fruit comes balsamic oak, with sweet tannins that wrap and lift the fruit. The retronasal flavour is intense, making us salivate and lingering for a long time. The wine will improve in bottle over the next 5–6 years.
Our wines reflect our life, everything we have lived since 2000, when we began making them, and everything we have felt since the arrival of our son in 2023.
Wine is our life. Wine is love, and that is precisely what led us to be born into winemaking in Murcia, to discover and experience the banks of the Duero, and to the arrival of our son, Tokyo Gomez Rojo.
Three origins that are at the same time home and three destinations. Three different moments in our lives, in which we felt winemaking differently.
