Description

Garnier & Fils Chablis 1er Cru Fourchaume Branco 2022 is a top-end white from Chablis, Burgundy, France. Made by brothers Xavier and Jérôme Garnier, it comes from one of the most emblematic Premier Cru terroirs on the right bank of the Serein, the Fourchaume vineyard.

It's made from 100% Chardonnay grown on Kimmeridgian limestone soils, which give the region's classic mineral identity.

The famous Fourchaume, emblematic terroir of the right bank. Behind a golden robe come aromas of greenery, vetiver and sandalwood. Its fresh attack leaves a juicy mark on the taut, Kimmeridgian finish. Once again, the terroir prevailed throughout the year. This Fourchaume, the vineyard's eldest son, wears a brilliant robe, as if embroidered with gold. Its perfume evokes lemon zest and saffron wrapped in notes of sweet pollen. On the palate, ripeness rules. After long seconds, the soil's salinity emerges. A select wine every wine lover should have in their cellar.
