Description
Almaviva was born from a partnership between Baron Philippe de Rothschild and Concha y Toro, and is one of Chile's most famous reds. It is made in Puente Alto, in the Alto Maipo.
It is a Bordeaux-style blend led by Cabernet Sauvignon, with Carménère and other Bordeaux varieties. The 2020 shows cassis, black cherry, cedar, graphite and spice notes, with fine tannins and a long finish.
Pair with grilled red meat, lamb and aged cheese. Serve at 17–18 °C.
Store the bottle lying down, away from light and vibration, at a steady 12 to 14 °C. At Vinogrande every bottle is carefully packed so it reaches you in the best condition.
