Baigorri de Garage 2015/2018

Baigorri del Garage is a great red wine made by Bodegas Baigorri in Samaniego, a small town located in the heart of Rioja Alavesa.

Bodegas Baigorri is a modern winery known for its use of gravity throughout the development process, avoiding any mechanics, which helps preserve the qualities of the grape and wine. Baigorri del Garage is a tempranillo varietal. The grapes come from old, low-yielding vines that are harvested by hand.

Once at the winery, the grapes are selected grain by grain on sorting tables. Before fermentation begins, a long maceration takes place to try to extract all the aromas from the grape.

While the grapes are harvested, fermentation takes place in wooden barrels at a temperature of 28º. Once fermentation is complete, they are placed in a vertical press. Malolactic fermentation takes place in new French oak barrels at a controlled temperature of 20, the barrel has been aged and adds flavor to the wine.

Baigorri Garage is a unique wine, there is limited production depending on the vintage. A tasty and elegant wine from Rioja.
