Baigorri Finca la Canoca 2021
Baigorri Finca la Canoca 2021 - 2021 is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
93 points James Suckling, 93 points José Peñin, and 93 points Tim Atkin
James Suckling: A complex, serious nose with wild berries, plums, grilled herbs and slate. Medium to full body on the palate, with a mouthful of fine, dusty tannins that dissolve into spiced blue fruit. Velvety and long. Tempranillo. Drinkable now, but best in a year or two.
Tim Atkin: La Canoca is widely regarded as one of the best vineyards in San Vicente de la Sonsierra, shared between several producers and wineries. The new French oak is quite assertive here, but there is enough structure and concentration to balance it out. Notes of coffee bean and vanilla spice complement a palate of blood orange and blackberry fruit. 2024-31.
