Bright amber color with a slight greenish tinge. Complex with notes of dried fruits such as hazelnuts, almonds, walnuts, figs and cashews. Harmonious, elegant and well balanced, presence of toasted flavors and subtle collection of minerals. Persistent and long-lasting finish.

Producer's Notes: The 1937 Burmester Colheita wine is a fortified wine, with around 20% alcohol content. It ages in oak casks for many years. It has the grape varieties normally recommended for the region.

Awards received: received 5 stars in blind tastings carried out by the British magazine Decanter, in 1993.
