CRF Extra Reserva

It's the ex-libris of the Carvalho Ribeiro & Ferreira family of Premium Aguardentes. An aguardente so special it could only be protected by an exclusively designed, semi-artisanal bottle, giving each piece its own distinct identity.

The time we spend savouring the moment is the time we gain absorbing new knowledge and flavours. 

That's why we left this incomparable Reserva Extra to time, keeping it a little longer in oak and ageing the recipe with all the flavour and identity of a very Portuguese, century-old tradition. 

At the CR&F house there was a special 5,000-litre cask, reserved only for friends of the family. It was rarely opened, not for lack of occasions to celebrate, but because it was often forgotten in the rush of daily life.

It was a moment of pause that became an inspiration. A dinner among friends that turned into an unexpected surprise. Time had matured and wrapped the flavours, and they found a unique liquid, unlike anything they had ever tasted.

They immediately gathered the whole in-house team of cellar masters and technicians and decided there and then that this aguardente had to reach the brand's fans, because they too deserved to share it. 

After several sensory and organoleptic tastings, they produced an aguardente with a unique, rich and complex profile, making it the perfect finishing touch to special meals.

And that's what we want: that, whether for the occasion, the place or the company, it makes every moment last in time.
