Description

Douro-grown grapes, but from the Austrian grape Grüner Veltliner, took this white out of the appellation and under the IVV seal. First made in 2012, it's fermented in used French oak barrels and then made sparkling and aged in bottle for many months in a cool cellar at constant temperature. A rich sparkling wine, full of ‘nuances’ of brioche and pain grillé, joined by the grape's exciting pepperiness. A fine, firm bead, with generous richness balanced by extreme dryness to put the grape's character first.
