Insula Verdelho White 2019

Insula Vinus is an entrepreneurial project covering 3.3 hectares of Insula Atlantis, which brings together a vineyard, winery, accommodation and tourist activities with the aim of promoting the best that the Azores produce. Guided by simplicity, the practice of viticulture respects ancestral values, maintaining native grape varieties and enhancing the attributes of Azorean wines.

The Verdelho grape variety, native to the Azores islands, produces unique wines that express great freshness and tropical aromas in combination with the salinity provided by the Atlantic environment and the typical minerality of the basaltic soils of volcanic origin, characteristics of this Insula Verdelho.
