Tannins come from grape skins, seeds and oak. You feel them as a pleasant drying grip on gums and tongue — from silky and velvety to firm and chewy.

Description
Invincible Nº 1 Tinto 2023 is a Douro red made by Companhia de Vinhos Invencível, a joint project of winemakers Rita Marques and Marc Kent. It's a versatile, vibrant blend made from vines over 30 years old.
Rita Marques and Marc Kent set up Companhia de Vinhos Invencível in 2020. The two winemakers, who had already worked together in 2015, 2016 and 2017 in South Africa and in 2018 and 2019 in Portugal, have now made a bigger commitment by buying a Quinta in Casais do Douro. It's their first joint property and the birthplace of the brand.
A blend from vines over 30 years old: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz. A seductive nose of dark fruit, cherry and light aromatic oak. On the palate, red fruit and ripe cherries followed by a fine tannic structure. The finish is vibrant and long, with just a hint of oak.
