Mauro Vendimia Selección is a wonderful wine from the land of Castile and León produced by Bodegas Mauro in Tudela de Duero, in the province of Valladolid. Bodegas Mauro has been producing small batches of great wines since 1978 based on two pillars: terroir identity and ageing.

Mauro Vendimia Selección is a single-varietal of the Tempranillo variety. The grapes come from vines aged between 20 and 25 years old, cultivated without any type of herbicides, respecting the vineyard and the environment as much as possible. The grapes are harvested by hand and transferred to the winery in small 15 kg boxes, where they are carefully selected. Fermentation is carried out with yeasts native to the vineyard itself, followed by maceration lasting two or three weeks. Mauro Vendimia Seleção aged for 32 months in extra-fine grain French and American oak barrels.

Mauro Vendimia Selección is a complex and elegant wine. Its great concentration makes it a great wine for aging.
