Niepoort Batuta 2021

Batuta is a Douro red wine where every detail is carefully considered to obtain a complex, fine and elegant wine.

The grapes to produce this wine come from Carril, from a vineyard over 70 years old facing north, and from old vines around 100 years old, close to Quinta de Nápoles. Batuta is the result of delicate vinification, with prolonged maceration but little extraction, where all details are carefully considered to obtain a complex, fine and elegant wine. It is full of concentration, typical of old Douro vineyards, but at the same time fresh and delicate.
