Description
Opus One was born of the partnership between Baron Philippe de Rothschild of Château Mouton Rothschild and Robert Mondavi, and is now one of California's most celebrated reds. It is made in Oakville, in the heart of Napa Valley.
It is a Bordeaux-style blend led by Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2018 shows cassis, blackberry, cedar and graphite, with fine tannins, good freshness and a long, elegant finish.
Pair with grilled red meat, lamb or aged cheese. Serve at 17–18 °C.
Store the bottle lying down, away from light and vibration, at a steady 12 to 14 °C. At Vinogrande every bottle is carefully packed so it reaches you in the best condition.
