PAPE 2019 Magnum

The first known historical references to Quinta da Pellada appear around 1570. The Dão Demarcated Region was established in 1908, framed by three mountain ranges – Buçaco, Caramulo and Serra da Estrela – which protect it from the Atlantic winds and provide it with very special climatic conditions. Álvaro Castro is one of the best Portuguese producers and the undisputed leader in his Dão region.

Sweet, pure, chocolatey nose, lively with vibrant red and black fruits. Elegant, but forward at the same time. On the palate it is rich in soft sweet fruit and good acidity. Well structured.
