Description
Grange is Australia's most iconic red. Created by Max Schubert at Penfolds, with the first experimental vintage in 1951, it is a multi-regional South Australian blend based on Shiraz, often with a small share of Cabernet Sauvignon.
Grange 2016 (Bin 95) is aged in new American oak. It is dense and opulent, with ripe black fruit, spice, chocolate and oak notes, carried by firm tannins and built for decades of cellaring.
Pair with red meat, game and slow-cooked dishes. Serve at 18 °C and decant well ahead.
Store the bottle lying down, away from light and vibration, at a steady 12 to 14 °C. At Vinogrande every bottle is carefully packed so it reaches you in the best condition.
