Description
Quinta das Bágeiras branco colheita comes from vines just over 15 years old. It's made by an age-old process: the must is placed in small open 1 m³ settling tanks, where it stays for 24 to 36 hours to settle by natural precipitation. The must is then moved to stainless-steel tanks to ferment, with temperature controlled by a cascade of chilled water. It ferments only with the grapes' own indigenous yeasts, with no added enzymes or extra yeasts.
Lively, bright golden-yellow. Light notes of hay, some honey and strong impressions of stubble. Enormous phenolic power: full and concentrated, powerful, almost chewy, vigorous, full of energy, with an almost endless finish.
