Description
Quinta de La Rosa Leve tinto 2024 is a contemporary, innovative take on Douro wine, designed specifically for freshness, liveliness and easy drinking, moving away from the region's traditionally full-bodied, alcoholic profile.
Tasting Note
Fresh and elegant, it shows very expressive aromas of cherry, plum and wild strawberry, wrapped in a distinct mineral component. On the palate it's light, flowing and balanced, with just 11% alcohol, making it particularly easy and pleasurable to drink.
Ageing in used French oak barrels helps polish and integrate the tannins, without masking the fruit or the wine's identity. The tannins are fine and very soft, giving a round, enveloping texture.
A red of genuine Douro character, combining freshness, lightness and elegance with mineral expression and the personality of the terroir.
Perfect with red meat, roast beef and grills, this wine is an excellent choice for anyone looking for an easy-drinking red that's full of character.
