Description
Monte Bello is the flagship of Ridge Vineyards in California's Santa Cruz Mountains. It comes from high-elevation vineyards on limestone and is one of America's most respected reds, known for its longevity.
It is a Cabernet Sauvignon-led blend with Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, aged in American oak. The 2022 shows cassis, black cherry, cedar and mineral notes, with firm tannins, freshness and a long finish.
Pair with red meat, lamb and mushrooms. Serve at 17–18 °C.
Store the bottle lying down, away from light and vibration, at a steady 12 to 14 °C. At Vinogrande every bottle is carefully packed so it reaches you in the best condition.
