Tomás Postigo 5º Año is a red wine made with the Cabernet Sauvignon, Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) and Merlot varieties produced by Tomás Postigo in the DO Ribera del Duero. Tomás Postigo began in 2008, when Tomás Postigo, a chemical researcher and one of the pioneers responsible for the consolidation of the denomination of origin since 1984, decided to start making his own wines. It is worth mentioning that it is the first winery to receive the Huella de Carbono, an ecological award that guarantees ecological and sustainable practices that do not harm the environment.

It is red, garnet and covered. On the nose it retains many red 'nuances' of ripe fruit (red blackberries, plums, cherries), accompanied by smoky, spicy and balsamic notes that make it fresh. On the palate it is smooth, broad, tasty and balanced. The finish is reminiscent of ripe fruit, spices and toasted wood.
