Description

UCA Violinista Branco 2025 is a light, maritime white wine made by Arvad Wine in the Algarve, under the guidance of winemaker Bernardo Cabral.

Located in the western Algarve, the 27-hectare UCA vineyards benefit from the freshness of the sea and a privileged proximity to the natural riches of the Ria de Alvor. From the same creators as Arvad, a successful Algarve wine project just a few kilometres away, guided by award-winning winemaker Bernardo Cabral, who knows the region intimately, and drawing on that know-how, come the UCA Violinista wines, which go even further in freshness and Algarve sea air.

The white has a very appealing aroma, first showing a tropical and citrus profile, followed by intriguing notes of fennel and minerality, thanks also to the Arinto and Boal grapes as well as the clay-limestone soil. Enveloping and fresh, it tastes  salty and mineral, recalling the nearby lagoon and sea. The finish is very pleasant and persistent, a perfect match for starters, goose barnacles, oysters, salads and grilled fish.
