Description
Altamimbre 2021 is the top-of-the-range wine from Bodegas Carramimbre (Bodegas Pingón) in Spain's prestigious Ribera del Duero. It's considered a winemaker's wine, released only in exceptional vintages.
Altamimbre Autor 2021 was awarded 93 points by Guía Peñín, in the category of wines considered “Excellent”.

Appearance: Intense, clear and bright cherry red, highly concentrated.
Nose: It stands out for its complexity, opening gradually in the glass. Notes of ripe fruit and raisins appear, with hints of overripe grapes, well wrapped in touches of spice, caramel, coffee, toast and a light balsamic note.
Palate: A structured, enveloping attack with good volume. Harmonious balance supported by soft, well-integrated tannins. Toasty and raisined-fruit flavours return, ending long and persistent.
This wine comes from a rigorous selection of grapes from vines over 60 years old, then aged for 20 months in new French and American oak barrels, contributing to its elegant, well-structured profile.
