Quinta de Saes Altitude Field Blend Vinhas Velhas 2019 is a classic Dão red made by renowned winemaker Álvaro Castro at Quinta da Pellada. It stands out for its freshness and elegance, typical of high-altitude viticulture (about 500 metres) and vines over 55 years old.

Robert Parker (Wine Advocate): The wine shows striking character combined with remarkable freshness, clearly expressing the minerality typical of the region's granite soils. On the nose, fine, intense red-fruit aromas such as ripe cherries stand out, with elegant floral notes of violets and subtle hints of spice and smoke.

On the palate it's extremely elegant and silky, almost ethereal. Vibrant acidity perfectly balances the concentrated fruit, while firm but well-polished tannins give harmonious structure and a long, persistent finish.
