Description
Viña Sastre Crianza 2021 is a balanced, complex red from the Ribera del Duero region, made from 100% Tempranillo from vines averaging 60 years old. It stands out for its artisanal, organic farming, without herbicides or mineral fertilisers.
Viña Sastre Crianza is made from 100% Tempranillo by Bodegas Hermanos Sastre in La Horra (Burgos). After artisanal farming with no mineral fertilisers, herbicides or insecticides, the wine spends 14 months in new French and American oak barrels. Viña Sastre Crianza is a smooth, sweet-fruited wine, very fruity, with black-fruit sensations and fine toasty notes, and a very long, complex finish. It comes from vines up to 60 years old, and its previous vintages have scored highly in both the Guía Peñín and "The Wine Advocate".
