Passagem Reserva Tinto 2023 is an outstanding wine from Quinta das Bandeiras in the Douro Superior. It is the result of a successful partnership begun in 2005 between the Bergqvist family (owners of the prestigious Quinta de la Rosa) and renowned winemaker Jorge Moreira (of Poeira).

The 2023 Passagem Reserva Tinto, a blend of Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca, fermented in stainless steel vats and oak vats with a selection of yeasts from their own vineyards, and matured in French oak barrels, 20% of them new, for 13 months. It is slightly riper and more concentrated than the regular Passagem Tinto; it has 14% alcohol and is spicier, with more aromatic herbs — thyme, rosemary and lavender. The palate is medium to full-bodied, with abundant, fine-grained tannins. 17,000 bottles were produced. It was bottled in January 2025.
