Tasting Profile

Aroma
An expressive, enveloping nose dominated by ripe red fruit, with black cherry and plum to the fore. Nuances of sweet spice, fresh herbs and delicate earthy notes of tobacco and leather follow, adding complexity.

Palate
Medium-bodied with a velvety texture, it shows a structure of firm but perfectly integrated tannins. Fresh, balanced acidity brings tension and liveliness, leading to a long, persistent, elegant finish.

Pairing
A particularly versatile wine at the table, ideal with pasta in rich meat sauces such as wild boar ragù, as well as grilled red meat, roasts and a selection of aged cheeses.
