Vista Alegre Porto LBV 2019

This is a traditional "unfiltered " LBV, neither cold-stabilised nor filtered. The cork is a straight natural cork, like a Vintage PORT. Keep the bottle lying down, at a constant temperature and away from strong light. Over the years it's natural for some deposit to form in the bottle, so it should be opened carefully and decanted before serving.

Very concentrated in colour and aroma, austere and closed, with notes of macerated black berries and vegetal hints. The sober profile softens on the palate, with vibrant fruit and well-wrapped tannins. (20%) An excellent Port, a symbol of quality and tradition. It does credit to its origin, which comes from a rigorous selection of lots.
