A very spicy Syrah, even peppery, with some exotic balsamic notes, ripe black fruit, and some barrel smoke. It stands out on the palate for its opulence, with silky, full-bodied tannins polished by the barrel. Despite the high alcohol content, it reveals excellent balance and finishes long, enveloping, and seductive.
