Description
Kompassus Private Collection Branco 2020 is a white of great elegance and structure, with a markedly food-friendly profile, made in Portugal's prestigious Bairrada region. Designed under the mentorship of renowned winemaker Anselmo Mendes together with Magda Costa, this blend stands out for its vibrant freshness and excellent ageing potential.
Complex and elegant, this wine shows on the nose a very harmonious combination of Arinto's vibrant citrus freshness and delicate notes of nuts and candied fruit. The oak is perfectly integrated, adding just a subtle smoky touch.
PalateOn the palate it's structured, enveloping and unctuous, supported by tense, refreshing acidity. Cercial adds depth and definition, ending in a long, elegant finish marked by a distinct saline sensation.
A very food-friendly wine, especially suited to fish stews, delicate dishes, strong cheeses and white meat.
