Quinta do Cabril Red Grand Reserve 2016

Quinta do Cabril is located in the Douro Region in Paradela de Guiães (Cima Corgo sub-region) with a maximum altitude of 600 meters. This Grande Reserva wine, from the Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Sousão grape varieties, was produced in traditional granite presses with foot treading. The aging took place for 12 months in new French oak barrels.

Very deep and purple color, very complex and distinct flavors, where the fruity and floral nature predominates with notes of spices, the notes of black pepper from the wood are well integrated and balanced with the wine. In the mouth it shows balanced acidity, fruity nature, very good structure with great tannins. Good and long finish, with great balance. This balance of power and elegance contributes to aging potential, so the wine benefits from a few years in the bottle.
