This wine: 4 out of 5 — closer to «full».
How heavy and full the wine feels in your mouth — from light like skimmed milk to rich like cream. It comes mainly from alcohol, extract and, in sweet wines, sugar.
Wine profile
Tannin
This wine: 2 out of 5 — closer to «silky».
Tannins come from grape skins, seeds and oak. You feel them as a pleasant drying grip on gums and tongue — from silky and velvety to firm and chewy.
Wine profile

This wine: 4 out of 5 — closer to «crisp».
The freshness that makes your mouth water, like a squeeze of lemon. It gives a wine tension, length and ageing potential, and makes it great with food.
Wine profile
Alcohol

Description
QS2 is fruity, gourmand, silky and enveloping. The younger sibling of Quinta Sardonia, it has a personality of its own that makes it stand out in its own right. The blend can vary slightly each year, as the winery gives great importance to its soils, which are mainly limestone. But the dominant grape is always Tinto Fino, complemented by small percentages of others such as Cabernet Sauvignon or Petit Verdot.
Biodynamic viticulture. Estate vineyards in Villabáñez and Sardón de Duero (Valladolid), at 760 to 830 metres.
Appearance:
Medium-depth cherry red with a violet rim, showing youth and liveliness.
Nose:
Complex and captivating, dominated by fresh red fruit such as cherries and blueberries, wrapped in elegant notes of black pepper, thyme and wild herbs that add depth and character.
Palate:
A vibrant, fresh, fruit-filled attack, with a gourmand texture that seduces from the first sip. Balanced, with soft, well-integrated tannins and a very long, persistent finish. The ripeness of the fruit reflects the 2021 vintage perfectly.
