Description

Tomintoul is known as the gentle dram of Speyside, from a distillery built in 1965 in the Glenlivet valley near the highest village in the Highlands. The 14 Year Old is matured only in American bourbon casks and bottled at 46% without chill filtration, giving it more texture than other expressions from the house.

Matured for 14 years in bourbon casks and bottled at 46%, it shows peach, vanilla, flowers and honey on the nose. The palate is silky, with honey, pear, vanilla and spice. The finish is medium, with vanilla, honey and oak.

An easy, versatile whisky to enjoy neat, on ice or in a refreshing highball. It pairs with grilled fish, seafood, salads and fresh cheeses, and is an excellent choice for anyone discovering the category.
