Description
Glenfiddich 21 Year Old Winter Storm is a limited-edition Scotch single malt, part of the distillery's acclaimed "Experimental Series", which stands out for its unique finish in Canadian icewine casks.
Key Features:
Finish: Aged in oak casks and finished in icewine casks from Peller Estates in Niagara, Canada.
Alcohol: 43% ABV.
Edition: The third release in the "Experimental Series", released in two batches; as a limited edition, it can be hard to find.
Presentation: A distinctive white ceramic bottle, designed to evoke the ice and snow of Canada.
Nose: Tropical fruit (such as lychee and pineapple), notes of candied sweets, sweet apples, vanilla, a touch of almond and subtle wine notes.
Palate: Smooth and sweet, with notes of lychee, tangerine sweets, Turkish delight and honey, balanced by a dryness from the icewine and a peppery citrus touch.
Finish: Short, dry and crisp, with notes of caramel and sometimes a bitter touch of grape skin or oak spice.
