A 700 ml bottle gives about 17 measures of 4 cl. Once opened, store it upright, tightly closed and away from light and heat: spirits keep well for months but slowly lose aroma once the bottle is half empty.

Description
Laphroaig Oak Select is the gateway to the medicinal, smoky style of the famous Kildalton distillery on the south coast of Islay. It brings together whiskies matured in several types of oak cask, chosen to soften the force of the peat without stealing its identity. The result is a lighter, sweeter and easier Laphroaig, perfect for a first discovery.
Matured in oloroso sherry casks, virgin oak, Pedro Ximénez casks and bourbon casks and bottled at 40%, it shows peat smoke, red berries, vanilla and seaweed on the nose. The palate is light and fresh, with peat smoke, honey, red berries and pepper. The finish is medium, with peat smoke, sea salt and spice.
For lovers of smoke, it is an essential bottle. Drink it neat or with a drop of water, which reveals the sweetness hidden behind the peat. It pairs with oysters, smoked salmon, grilled meats and blue cheese.
