Description

Laphroaig 18 Years Old is one of the most sought-after aged expressions from the Islay distillery. Aged for eighteen years in bourbon casks and bottled at 48%, it shows how time turns Laphroaig intense peat into a richer, fruitier and more complex profile.

The nose opens with peat smoke, baked apple, honey and vanilla. The palate is creamy, with smoke, ripe fruit, toasted oak and sweet spice. The finish is long and elegant, with soft smoke, sweet oak and a hint of sea salt.

A collector whisky for special moments. Serve neat in a nosing glass and add a drop of water to open the fruit. It pairs well with smoked fish, roast meats or an aged sheep cheese.
