From old vines in the high areas of Borba, at 400 metres, this Field Blend authentically expresses the fresher, more mineral side of the Alentejo terroir. The nose is vinous and enveloping, with intense notes of blackberry jam, balsamic and earthy ‘nuances’, wild flowers and delicate spice, complemented by subtle hints of coffee and liquorice. On the palate it stands out for remarkable freshness, supported by altitude, with polished tannins and a deep, layered texture. The finish is long and sophisticated, with elegant graphite notes extending the tasting.
