Quinta do Piloto Kamikaze Laranja

Quinta do Piloto Kamikaze Laranja is an experimental Orange Wine (skin-contact white) made by the renowned Quinta do Piloto winery in the Península de Setúbal (Palmela), signed by winemaker Filipe Cardoso.

The Kamikaze line is a range of experimental wines for testing different winemaking techniques and/or grapes worked in unconventional ways. Piloto Kamikaze Laranja, mas pouco… ("orange, but only a little…") is a white wine from Fernão Pires and Síria, made the old way, with full skin contact. The result is a wine that's orange in colour, but only a little…, from long contact with the skins, and strong in flavour thanks to its high tannin, much like a red wine.
