Description

Quinta dos Abibes Reserva Tinto 2019 is an excellent red from Portugal's prestigious Bairrada wine region. Made under the mentorship of winemaker Mário Sérgio, this DOC Bairrada balances national identity with international sophistication, earning 17 points in the respected Guia de Vinhos da Bairrada.

Clear and crystalline, it has a deep garnet colour with subtle violet glints at the rim. The nose shows great aromatic intensity, with expressive notes of red and wild berries, especially blueberries and raspberries. The fruit is elegantly complemented by delicate floral notes and a soft toast from oak ageing.

On the palate it's structured yet elegant, with ripe, well-integrated tannins. The oak is perfectly balanced, adding complexity without overshadowing the fruit. The finish is harmonious, persistent and excellently balanced.

True to the classic profile of this wine, Quinta dos Abibes Reserva Tinto 2019 shows strong aromatic expression, where the structure and personality of Cabernet Sauvignon merge exemplarily with the identity and elegance of Touriga Nacional, giving a distinctive, very well-made wine.
