Seara D'Ordens Reserva Vinhas Velhas Tinto 2020

Seara D'Ordens Reserva Vinhas Velhas Tinto 2020 is an excellent red from Portugal's prestigious Douro region, made by the historic Quinta Seara d'Ordens. It comes from a careful selection of grapes from the estate's oldest vineyard plots, offering a complex, full-bodied and deeply authentic profile.

Tasting Note: Deep and elegant, this red shows a very well-defined aroma, marked by ripe black fruit, balsamic and mineral notes, enriched by nuances of rockrose, resin and woodland. Spice comes in the background, with hints of pepper, cumin and clove, adding complexity and dimension to the bouquet.

On the palate it stands out for its excellent combination of tension, freshness and sophistication. It has solid structure and firm but well-integrated tannins, giving it character and ageing capacity. The finish is long, persistent and marked by elegant minerality and balsamic notes.

An old-vine Douro with depth, identity and great expression of terroir, particularly suited to fine meats. At the table, it will find a worthy partner in a medium-rare Wagyu steak, seasoned only with salt.
