Fritz Haag Brauneberger Juffer Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese Branco 2018 is a single-varietal wine, made exclusively from Riesling.
Tasting Notes
Colour: Pale gold with bright greenish glints.
Aroma: The nose is very pure and complex, with intense notes of lime, pear, tangerine, iris flowers and violets, combined with touches of floral honey and distinct slate minerality. Some tropical notes such as passion fruit can also be found.
Palate: On the palate it's juicy, velvety and elegant. Flavours of pineapple, apricot and yellow peach are lifted by lively, almost electric acidity that perfectly balances the sweetness. The concentration is high, yet it keeps an ethereal lightness, ending in a long, persistent, salty-mineral finish.
Overall Impression: A wine that dances on the palate, combining richness and freshness, with great purity and focus on fruit flavour, giving it excellent ageing potential.
