Description
Ferreirinha's estates are probably the most emblematic in the Douro. Among them, Quinta do Vale Meão carries enormous symbolism, as a project conceived from scratch, since the estate was bought as virgin land. On its own merits, Quinta do Vale Meão is truly one of the most interesting and sought-after wines in Portugal. A well-deserved reputation for the quality this wine offers in every vintage released. The estate also makes a second wine, Meandro do Vale Meão, from its younger vines.
Quinta do Vale Meão 2021 is a tribute to the nobility of the Douro. Its deep colour, charming aromas and complex palate make this wine a great choice.
A deep nose ranging between delicacy and definition. Cherry, blackberry, some raspberry, delicate florals and spice, all perfectly integrated. A layered, highly polished texture, ripe tannins and freshness creating harmony and noble austerity.
