What age and cask tell you
12 years
The youngest whiskey in this bottle spent at least 12 years in cask.
In general: Younger: lively and fruity. 15–18 years: rounder and more complex. 21+: deep, with plenty of oak and dried fruit.
How to taste like a pro
At room temperature, to meet the whiskey as it left the cask.
2–3 drops of still water open up hidden aromas, especially above 43%.
One large cube chills with less dilution; it softens but closes some aromas.
