The large number of aromatic notes that this wine presents is what makes it great. Mountain notes, wild red fruits, dried flowers, graphite and blood orange. Sweet at the same time as fresh and with a well-understood exuberance that floods the palate with nuances without being excessive.

Vintae presented Viñedos El Pacto to society, a step forward on its path back to the origins of its founders. El Pacto is, according to its promoters, “a look at the roots of the house, at the wines of the village, at the purest Riojas”. El Pacto opens with four wines: Valdechuecas and Riojanda, classified as Viñedo Singular, and El Pacto de la Sonsierra and El Pacto del Alto Najerilla, labeled as local wines.

Vintae's CEO, Richi Arambarri, and the company's winemaker, Raúl Acha, are leading this project, which for them means a commitment to their ancestors, people who preserved a precious wine heritage, preserving it from standardization and industrialization.

The stars of the Viñedos El Pacto project are two wines from Viñedo Singular, Valdechuecas and Riojanda, two reds marked by the character of the territory from which they come. Valdechuecas is made with 10% de-stemmed grapes, fermenting the must in concrete, where malolactic fermentation is also carried out. It then ages for around twelve months in a 2,400 liter foudre. Riojanda Malolactica ferments in French oak and ages in 500-liter French barrels for up to 18 months. Only 700 75cl bottles were produced. and 30 magnum.
