Description
Woodford Reserve is in Woodford County, in the heart of Kentucky, at one of the oldest distilleries in the United States, a National Historic Landmark. Distiller’s Select is a Kentucky straight bourbon that combines copper pot still spirit with column still spirit for a rare balance of richness and elegance.
Matured in new charred American oak and bottled at 43.2%, it shows caramel, vanilla, orange and cinnamon on the nose. The palate is creamy, with caramel, dark chocolate, red berries and pepper. The finish is long, with caramel, spice and oak.
Excellent neat, over a single ice cube or as the base of an Old Fashioned or a Manhattan. It pairs with smoked ribs, burgers, pecan pie and caramel desserts.
