Description
Balvenie Caribbean Cask matured in traditional whiskey oak casks for 14 years and was then moved to casks that had held Caribbean rum. When he felt the casks were ready, the rum was replaced with the 14-year-old whiskey, which completed its work with the finishing touches. The result is a single malt of traditional, exceptional smoothness, with a soft honeyed character married to notes of toffee and a touch of fruit, and a warm, lingering finish.
